    Yes, the acknowledgement & gratitude sharing process at beginning of meetings — is indeed a best practice in team building.  The team overall will be more focused, less defensive, and more apt to contribute.  It creates “synergy” where you’ll get more ideas, concerns, and open sharing

    One does catch more flies with honey than vinegar — as I also agree with “positive thinking” and that people are the most important resource on any project.   And long term, employees tend to stay in an organization where they are valued

    YES -a waterfall starts as a small obscure spring somewhere in mountains … and gains momentum over time .. to become a brook, stream, and river with even a waterfall later.  And likewise the CGL which deviates some from traditional management & the leaner-and-meaner times — is difficult to implement.  It’s sometimes difficult to see benefits or change styles.

    The books are great resources — along with executive sponsorship & adopting gratitude as a best personal practice are ways to start process 🙂
